Creativity Is Campaign

I worked with stakeholders from more than 15 departments in The Creative School to create unique and eye-catching graphics as part of the faculty-wide “Creativity Is” campaign.

The campaign was launched shortly after the rebrand to “The Creative School” and we wanted to use bold imagery that would stand out, and feature the new colours each department was now using as their brand identity.

The Creative Campus Map

Being tasked with introducing new and returnig students to the new identity of the faculty, I proposed we create a map of campus where we highlight each building that houses facilities belonging to The Creative School.

This isometric map of campus was created from scratch by myself and one other coworker to help students navigate campus and find all of the resources the faculty has to offer more easily.

Creative School Rebrand Launch

With the renaming of the faculty to “The Creative School” we wanted to ensure that the new visual identity was beautiful and communicated who we are: creatives. Working as a team, we developed a strong visual identity with eye-catching visual assets and bold colours.

I got to work on many different graphics and assets that were used across campus and around the world to announce our new identity, including digital assets (some of which are shown here) as well as banners, signage, and flyers.

Creative School Website Rebrand

Working alongside two of my coworkers, we reviewed, edited, designed, and launched more than 150 pages of content for the relaunch of our website.

I got to work on the layout and design of many high-profile pages on the website, including the portfolio pages which show off the creative projects and successes of our students and faculty.

Student Union Rebrand

Working alongside several coworkers, I co-led the rebrand efforts after the school renamed and we were required to follow suit.

This included consultations, group brainstorming, and design tests to find the colours, fonts, and overall look we would go with. After the brand was decided upon, I made our brand guide to help all staff and partners follow the brand we had established.

Student Handbook

Working alongside two of my coworkers, we wrote, edited, designed, and successfully delivered 8000 student handbooks and day-planners for the 2023 Orientation Week.

I got to work on many different graphics and assets that were used across campus and around the world to announce our new identity, including digital assets (some of which are shown here) as well as banners, signage, and flyers.

Posters and Flyers

Following our renaming and alongside our rebrand efforts, I led the project to re-imagine all of the legacy posters and flyers that the students’ union distributes annually.

Since they all had to be edited to remove the school’s former name, I developed an identity for our print designs to all share in order to increase brand recognition among our students. More than 30 print designs were part of this redesign process.

Website Redevelopment

Following the renaming of the organization and launching a website that was thrown together quickly, I began a nearly 6 month long process to develop an improved website.

Working with more than 25 colleagues to determine priorities and preferences for the website, I developed more than 150 pages of content alongside my student staff team over the summer. We also developed a 15 page user manual so future students and staff would be able to use the site.

Program Posters

Since the program was still new when I started working there, the resources that most programs had were not available yet. I designed and created a series of posters with important information for students that could be displayed across campus. There were also several posters that I got to redesign and bring up to the brand standards.

I also developed the first guidebook for the program that organized all of the relevant information students would need to make sure they graduate on time.
